Seeking Tawbah
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Tawbah simply means asking Allaah for forgiveness in total submissiveness.
Now how can one repent from his sin and earn the pleasure of Allaah?
As Allaah said in
Surah Az Zumar (39:53)
Surah Az Zumar (39:53)
"Say O my slaves who have transgressed against themselves ( by committing evil deeds and sins) Despair not of the mercy of Allaah, verily Allaah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
However, with respect to the above, the sinner should feel sorry for whatever sin he/she might have committed and stand firm not to recommit such act again. It is also advisable to move away from situations/Scenes which leads to such unlawful acts.
May Allah forgive us our sins.
Ameen.
